The Hottest 100 Tipping Game

Ok people here's the deal. All our names were drawn out of a hat (I assume xSane and Vanmani aren't playing). They came out in this order:

Dangersque, Shadow, Pazu, Auron, Lambeaux.

We each get 2 tips for the Hottest 100. Dangeresque tips 1 song first then Shadow tips his. Then Lambeaux gets to tip 2 songs and then Auron picks his second and so on until everyne has picked 2 songs. You can't pick something someone else has picked. Does thaqt make sense? Whoever picks the song that ranks highest is the winner.

So Hurry up and pick your songs. Remember they must be put in in order, don't jump the gun.

I would like to change one of my guesses. After careful soul-searching and deliberation I have decided that - given that it got #15 last year - Ben Lee's song, "Gamble Eveything for Love", was not a great guess on my part. I suppose that, to be fair, I have to wait for Danger to make his second guess (if he ever gets around to it).
I am totally ok with this, as long as I receive credit (due or undue - your choice) for it :P Also, did you know that george foreman has no fingerprints?

Oh yeah it's Hottest 100 Day!

Here we'll count down people as they don't win. :) Good luck to all players.

• Milestone 1: no-one tipped a song in the 100-91 range. Congratulations, no-one sucks.
• Excellent, 90 - 81 is tip-free as well.
• 80 - 71 is clear
• 70 - 51 No songs from us I don't think. A couple of close calls though (White Stripes and Cog).
• 50 - 41 Safe. Ohhhhhh it's getting closer!
• 40 - 31 First casualty!!! Dangeresque's My Enemy by Cog (#32). Still another guess left though.
• Oh noes! Lambeaux's guess "System of a DOwn - BYOB" comes out at number 27.
• Crash - That's Auron's first guess going down. Gold Digga by Kanye West
• Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To, That's Shadow taking hit #1.
• The Shadow is officially the first loser in the world renowned Clan FGI Hottest 100 Tipping COmpetition. Great guesses though, both in the top 10! (Joker and teh Thief #9)
• Lambeaux has taken a dive. Gone down in the final moments. The crowd is mad!! (#8 End Of Fashion, Oh Yeah)
• Poor Auron has been taken out too (#7), take a swig from your flask brother and have a sit down.
• Le Captain Pazu takes a hit to the nuts with his favourite pick going down hard. (#6) Wolfmother - Mind's Eye. Great pick though bro.
• This is a good time to mention that Wolfother now have more songs in one Hottest 100 than any band ever before! No wonder we all liked the album so much. Good work Wolfmother, see you at the BDO.
• #3 was Feel Good Inc. I told you guys it was a good name for a song. :)
• #2 Ben Lee - Catch My Disease. Pazu picked number 2. Congrats!
• #1 place goes to: Bernard Fanning!!!

I am so glad we're not like this. This picture was submitted to the TripleJ page under photos of your Australia Day. For Gods sake, please tell me we won't end up like this. They spelt "Celebrating" AND "Hottest" wrong! FFS guys, no wonder people hate us nerds! Its a good thing they didnt misspell 'loser', as opposed to 'looser' (having a totally different meaning =)Sure, I misspelt one word in the 100's I wrote yesterday. I didn't get two words wrong in one sentance (in bold). In all-caps no less. Let's face it Danger, neither of us are renowned for our use of the English language. You didn't get two words wrong in one sentence either.
