Ok, are people keen to do the tipping the same way we did last year?

I have put people in alphabetical order: 1 Auron, 2 Danger, 3 J-Dawg, 4 Lambeaux, 5 Pazu, 6 Shadow, 7 Vanmani, 8 X-Sane.
Then using this (It's a good thing you used a random generator that uses atmospheric noise, rather than a computer based psuedo-random number generator, or this whole competition would be a FARCE I'll say, i refuse to enter any competition where numbers are randomly generated in a psuedo way What if was truly random, but they were only psuedo-generated? I am a purist, however if the competition was cool or had good prizes i could live with it) random number generator put people in order. Result: 8, 7, 4, 1, 6, 3, 2, 5.

So the guess will take place in this order:

Vanmani: Yes, it is my vote Gnarls Barkley - Crazy. Lambeaux sucks. - 9

Auron: Youth Group - Forever Young (c'mon OC crowd, pull me through!) That was my next guess. Wasn't sure if it going pop was going to help or hinder it. Good luck though. Damn, I was hoping to grab that one. So in the absence of anything else I'll go with my personal favourite.

• Youth Group - Forever Young, bad news for Duncan. Making Duncan first player out! Disaster! Meh, I blame the government/Vanmani. Good thing I tend to picks songs I don't want to get number 1. I will, though, take solace in the fact that I was at the actual event in Hyde Park.
• Lily Allen - Smile well lets admit it, it wasnt a great song.

• Mick's second guess is out now. My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade Fucking emo kids didn't stop posting on their dead friend's MySpace page long enough to vote and get me my one and two! Damn you emo kids!
• Next out was shadows Muse - Starlight. Noooooo - but I'm very happy with it getting top 10.
• Killers - When You Were Young. So that's me out. Pity this didn't go better, but I am still happy.

Muse - Take a Bow Not sure what happened there bro, maybe a miscount ;) I know what you mean! I was SURE this would do better than Super Massive Blackhole... what with SMBH being the top of the most requested list for several weeks and Take a Bow being played all of twice on Triple J. Real bad luck there Vanman(i):P Also - the SMBH filmclip has a bunch of zentai weirdos in it - shouldn't that make it a shoe in for your vote?

The rules:

• X-Sane must place his first vote before or on the 18th of January.vote already, i can't stand the suspense He's just playing mind games. Don't give in to him.Ok, I logged in and voted. I had forgotten to confirm from the email, but thats done now too. What do I do next? Voting for the hottest 100 is seperate. What you have to do for the game is pick which song you think is going to win the hottest 100 and put it next to your name. Then Ivan guesses and then me and so on. Then you get one more guess right at the end. WHoevers song gets closest to #1 wins. Capice?
• Votes must be in before 11:57pm on the 25th of January in this, the 2007th year of our Lord (EST).
• You must wait for the person before you to vote before you get to vote.
• If you cock-up a guess (like the song wasn't from 2006 or something like that) and notice it during the first half of the guessing then you get to re-guess after Pazu has his first guess. If you notice a cock-up in the second half (even if it was your first vote) you have to wait till X-Sane has his second guess.
• If more than one person has to re-guess then you re-guess in the order of the half that you noticed the mistake. So in the second half Pazu would re-guess before Manny.
• A "cock-up" is not just a shit guess you want to change.
• You can vote for any song you like, but I suggest that it comes from this list. Remember that you can add your own songs that aren't on the list when actually voting too. Sarah was left off Eskimo Joe's songs on the list (nfi why) so I wrote it in for my vote. They Probably left Sarah off because it would divide their votes too much, as it is they can almost guareentee that everyone that votes for them will vote for Black Fingernails Red Wine

I am so glad we're not like this. This picture was submitted to the TripleJ page under photos of your Australia Day. For Gods sake, please tell me we won't end up like this. They spelt "Celebrating" AND "Hottest" wrong! FFS guys, no wonder people hate us nerds! Its a good thing they didnt misspell 'loser', as opposed to 'looser' (having a totally different meaning =)Sure, I misspelt one word in the 100's I wrote yesterday. I didn't get two words wrong in one sentance (in bold). In all-caps no less. Let's face it Danger, neither of us are renowned for our use of the English language.
