We played a few games of this at the LAN. It seemed that everyone liked the game ... execpt me. I really didn't think too much of it. I found it frustrating when I was an IRIS guy and it went too quick when you finally became The Hidden. It seems like a fine idea but I think it needs some balancing. obviously you're just not a lurker at heart. Did you ever get to play the Overrun game type? Much better for the number of people we had. The normal game type only works well with a small number of people.

It'd be cool if it was actually scary. Unfortunately after you have played the second round and know what's going on, it's not. Furthermore, being IRIS is boring. I vote Hidden for all, IRIS as retarded bots, and the game being who can kill the most IRIS in a round.

Hockay, Beta 4 is out now. Haven't tried it yet. But the game has improved, there's more...stuff to make being Iris less boring. Weapons, equipment, bf2-like radio comms and the like. They're now starting work on a more complex game mode, an objective based Evac. Like, everyone starts separated, have to meet up, then go push button A/blow up B, then get to the evac point and survive until the end of the round. If they pull that off it'd make for a pretty cool game I think, but that's not going to be done for quite some time I'd guess. Anyways, I'll be getting this tonight and giving it a shot. Provided I don't end up in oblivion.
